Indoor lifts are the perfect solution to remove architectural barriers and to facilitate short-distance mobility between floors. There are various models for indoor lifts: those for blocks of flats, capable of transporting up to 8/10 people at once, but they require masonry works and large spaces. Alternatively, there are smaller-sized options for buildings with clearly more small-scale needs.

When we think about indoor lifts we imagine installations which require space and electricity in order to function. Lately an increasing number of clients are choosing indoor mini lifts, which are equally functional and safe, but are smaller in size. The ideal habitat for such installations is inside a multistorey private home or a small block of flats.

The AreaLift mini lifts manage to cover differences in height of up to 12 metres and to transport up to 500kg. Their main advantage is that it will not be necessary to open new installation sites: the mini lifts work without a pit or a machine room: our staff will install a preassembled lift which already contains all the cables required for its functioning.

Indoor lifts: which are the best models?

AreaLift can offer you some models which our clients are very fond of. The indoor mini lifts of the DomoFlex line are made in compliance with the latest safety standards. Furthermore, they can be customised so as to perfectly adapt to the decor and colours of each home.

DomoFlex Indoor: all its characteristics

DomoFlex Indoor has all the characteristics of a lift: but it is designed to be adaptable to private and peaceful contexts. ndeed, its movement does not disturb the tranquillity of the home: its sound emissions at full speed are only 48 dB, exactly like a modern fridge. Its maximum capacity is 400kg, therefore sufficient to transport a number of people in complete safety.

DomoFlex Indoor’s design guarantees its safe use at all times. In addition to being used for intermediate floors without structural works, it is fitted with an anti-blackout system, in the event of blackout, the platform will immediately reach the closest floor, so as to prevent one from getting blocked in the lift. Clients may choose between colour, platform material and shell options. Our indoor shells, in order to be resistant but at the same time extremely light, are made of aluminium, which can be painted in different colours. The same thing applies to the side of the platform, which is available both in painted sheet metal and in stainless steel.

DomoFlex Open Indoor: to take up as little space as possible

DomoFlex Open Indoor has the same serviceability as the previous model, but with the distinguishing feature that it is not equipped with a closed headroom. his type of mini lift is very recommended for reaching lofts or attics, where the roof is very low, but also in environments which cannot support excessively large weights. The shell is fitted with a safety gate and it can transport up to 400kg in complete safety. Moreover, its assembly will not cause any inconvenience, since its installation is much simpler and AreaLift installations are always delivered preassembled. In short, mini lifts can be the perfect solution to guarantee mobility also inside the home.
